with the E-Bike

With an e-bike, the mountains in Tyrol also feel a little flatter – without, of course, losing the spectacle. With less effort, even the most challenging tours can be mastered and you can reach the heights. E-biking in Ischgl is a highlight for everyone, that’s a promise!

Ischgls Top-Adress for E-Biker

We at the Goldener Adler, your boutique hotel in Ischgl, have also been bitten by the e-biking bug. Even our youngest, Matteo, is on board at the age of two and enjoys the rides in the trailer. That’s why our guests should want for nothing on their e-bike holiday in Tyrol. And they won’t – after all, the Goldener Adler has been a quality-certified bike accommodation for 4 years and is a top address for mountain biking in Ischgl.

In order to be counted as a quality-certified bike & cycling accommodation, a business must fulfil numerous requirements, which are checked by experts at regular intervals. There are numerous bike benefits at the 4-star Hotel Goldener Adler in Ischgl, all of which are included free of charge in your holiday package: from healthy meals (gluten-free, of course) as part of our Hotel ist Tirol half-board to bike beauty, laundry service for your bike clothing, a lockable bike room and repair stand with tools to guided bike tours with our guide Werner. You will also find sports shops and bike hire centres close by.

Mathon vally tour

Of course, we don’t want to withhold our favourite tour for e-biking around Ischgl from you. The Mathon valley circuit is short, crisp and perfect for familiarising yourself with cycling. With a length of 10.5 km, 145 metres in altitude and a duration of around one hour, the route runs along well-surfaced paths. It is also ideal for beginners. Right at the starting point at the Silvretta cable car, you cross the main road at the roundabout and cycle parallel to it on a forest path into the valley.

After a little more than half a kilometre, you cross the Trisanna and reach Mathon via gentle meadows and fields on the sunny side of the valley. Here the route turns round. The return journey then takes place on the other side of the valley, where you can let it roll directly along the cool stream towards Ischgl. On the last section of the route just before the finish line, you can enjoy another fun ride with gentle ups and downs on wonderful forest paths.

E-Bike WM for everyone in Ischgl

But it’s not just in the Goldener Adler that e-bike fever has spread – the entire region has jumped on the trend. All the better that the annual E-bike World Championships for EVERYONE take place in Ischgl and Galtür. Whether you are motivated to push yourself to your sporting limits or simply want to experience the competitive atmosphere, the E-Bike World Championships promise riding fun and adrenaline.

As excited as we are? Then we look forward to hearing lots of bike stories from and with you at the Goldener Adler.
